Franklin County is a county located in the U.S. State of Maine. As of 2000, the population is 29,467. Its county seat is Farmington 6.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 4,518 km˛ (1,744 mi˛). 4,397 km˛ (1,698 mi˛) of it is land and 120 km˛ (46 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 2.67% water.
