The Forest River is a tributary of the Red River of the North, approximately 90 mi (145 km) long, in eastern North Dakota in the United States. It rises in Walsh County and flows SE and E, past the towns of Fordville and Minto, and joins the Red approximately 40 miles north of Grand Forks.
