The Fitzgerald Inquiry into Queensland police corruption was a judicial inquiry presided over by Tony Fitzgerald QC. The inquiry was established in response to a television program's airing of a report entitled "Moonlight State" alleging high-level corruption involving both the police force and the then- Bjelke-Petersen government.

The Inquiry resulted in charges being laid against Queensland Police Commissioner (Sir) Terry Lewis and a perjury trial being held against Premier Bjelke-Petersen. The former was convicted, while the latter was not - despite claims of political interference in the jury.
