It was her first successful album in the US making its debut on the Billboard Albums Chart at number 3. The hit "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" was the most successful song on the album.
There are three different versions of the album cover. The original versions had Kylie wearing white and holding a microphone. This version was distributed to Australia and Europe. When the album was later released in the USA and Asia, the cover had changed to the headshot with the necklace. The cover for the bonus disc edition is similar to the original, but with Kylie wearing a blue PVC costume instead..
The album did very well in the charts reaching number one in over 10 countries and charting in the top five or ten in many others. Fever reached number in both the UK and Australia. The album also marked one of Kylie's most successful chart positions in the United States reaching number three on the Billboard Charts.
