Faye Dunaway (born Dorothy Faye Dunaway on January 14, 1941 in Bascom, Florida) is an Academy Award winning actress. Dunaway studied at the theater department of Boston University and graduated from the University of Florida. Her first screen role was in 1967 in The Happening , but in the same year, she got a role in Bonnie and Clyde which garnered her an Oscar nomination. It was in the 1970s that she began to stretch her acting muscles in such films as Three Days of the Condor, Puzzle of a Downfall Child, Little Big Man, Chinatown, and Network, for which she won her Oscar.
