Vina Fay Wray ( September 15, 1907 - August 8, 2004) was a Canadian-born American actress. Born on a ranch near Cardston, Alberta, her family moved to the United States when she was three. They lived in Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah before settling in California.

Wray gained media attention when she was selected as one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars in 1926.

She is best remembered for her role as the blonde seductress of a gigantic, prehistoric gorilla in the classic horror/adventure film King KongKing Kong is a classic 1933 Hollywood horror/ adventure film from RKO about a gigantic prehistoric gorilla, brought from a remote island to New York City to be exhibited as a natural wonder, that escapes to cause mass destruction. Her autobiography, On the Other Hand (BooksEnthsiast.com), was published in 1988.

Wray has a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. As of 2004 she was scheduled to receive a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.

Wray died at her home in Manhattan, New York State, USA and was interred in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood.
