Family Affair was a situation comedy television series that aired on CBS from September 12, 1966 until March 4, 1971. The series explored the trials of well-to-do bachelor Bill Davis (Keith) as he attempted to raise his brother's orphaned children. Davis' butler (Cabot) also had adjustments to make as he was usually saddled with the responsibility of caring for the children, 15 year-old Cissy (Garver) and 6 year-old twins, Jody (Whitaker) and Buffy (Jones). The show ran for 138 episodes.Family Affair was originally created and produced by Don Fedderson .
A short-lived revival of the series aired on The WB Television Network from September 2002 until March 2003. It was produced by Sid and Marty KrofftSid and Marty Krofft are a sibling team of prolific television producers who were very influential in children's television and music/variety television, particularly throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. They are largely known for a unique brand of ambit and lasted for only 16 episodes (only 14 of the 16 were aired).
