Environment Canada is Canada's federal environmental government agency under the Ministry of Environment. It is also responsible for weather forecasting. Its national headquarters is in Toronto, Ontario.

A national meteorological service began in 1871 under the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.

The current Minister of Environment is Hon. Stéphane Dion.
