Home > Eglinton Station

Eglinton Station is on the Yonge Line of Toronto's subway between Lawrence and Davisville Station. It was opened in 1954 and the first subway car departed from there.

It has now become hidden amongst the development that the subway allowed to occur in the Yonge-Eglinton area. The Duplex Bus Terminal is not an important terminal anymore and may soon be replaced.

The station can be accessed from the Yonge-Eglinton Centre, which was built on top of the station as well as Canada Square across the street.

The station has started to fall apart in recent years and may need a renovation soon.
