East Rutherford's claim to national fame is that it is the home of the Meadowlands Sports Complex which includes Continental Airlines Arena where both the NBA's New Jersey Nets and the NHL's New Jersey Devils play their home games, and Giants Stadium home of the NFL's New York Giants, New York Jets and MetroStars of Major League Soccer.
