Eureka 147 is a protocol for digital radio broadcasting originally developed in Europe, but now being deployed in many countries around the world. It is more commonly known as Digital Audio Broadcast ( DAB), although this can also apply to other methods such as IBOC and IBAC. Eureka 147 is most often transmitted in the L band, from 1452 to 1492 MHz, but can also operate in VHF and UHF bands in some countries.
