DreamWorks SKG (Spielberg, Katzenberg, Geffen) is a Big Ten studio in the United States of America which develops, produces, and distributes films, music, and television programming.

The company was founded by Steven Spielberg ( movie director and co-founder of Amblin Entertainment), Jeffrey Katzenberg (former head of Disney Animation Department) and David Geffen (founder of Geffen Records) in October 1994 with financial backing from Paul Allen (co-founder of MicrosoftMicrosoft Corporation , headquartered in Redmond, Washington, USA, is the world's largest software company (with over 50,000 employees in various countries, as of May 2004). Microsoft develops, manufactures, licenses and supports a wide range of software).

DreamWorks Records never lived up to expectations and was sold in October 2003 to Universal Music Group which now operates the label as DreamWorks Nashville.

The studio has had its greatest financial success with movies, specifically animatedThis animation moves at 10 frames per second. This animation moves at 2 frames per second.
