Didam is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands.

On January 1, 2005, Didam will merge with the neighbouring municipality of Bergh to constitute the new municipality Montferland.

2 Nieuw-Dijk

Nieuw-Dijk is a small village close to Germany, with a population of approximately 1600 people. Nieuw-Dijk has its own Roman Catholic parish church and primary school, both named for Saint Anthony of Padua.

In 1926 a local football club was established, called the Sprinkhanen ("Grasshoppers").
