Deutsche Volksunion (DVU) is a German far-right party. It was founded by publisher Gerhard Frey as an informal association in 1971 and established as a party in 1987. The party is watched by the Verfassungsschutz due to its extremist platform and alleged links to militant neo-nazism.

As of 2004, the party has never reached the minimum 5% of votes in federal elections necessary to enter the Bundestag; it has, however, been able to enter several state parliaments.

In 2004, the DVU entered a non-competition agreement with right-wing party NPD for the state elections in Brandenburg and Saxony. Both parties were successfull in their chosen state, the DVU reaching 6.1% in Brandenburg and the NPD claiming 9.2% in Saxony. After their success, the parties stated they would run on a single platform in the 2006 federal election.
