David the Gnome is a 1985 animated series about the goings on in a community of gnomes. It ran for 32 episodes for a half-hour programming slot and was produced in Spain. Series writers Wil Huygen and Rien Poortvliet were also authors of the then popular 1980 book Gnomes.

In the English language version of the show, the title character, a gnome physician, was voiced by Tom Bosley. The series was narrated by Christopher Plummer.

The show is heavily based on the idea of living a moral life in harmony with the world around you.
