Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT) is one of the UK's largest media companies and has interests in national and regional newspapers, television and radio. While the majority of the company's activities are based in the UK, it does have worldwide operations.The group can trace its history back to 1896, with the launch of the Daily Mail. DMGT was created in 1922.
The current Chairman is The Viscount Rothermere and the Chief Executive is Charles J F Sinclair .
