A Cutblock, also known as a clearcut, are deforested areas resulting from logging operations. Depending on the amount of consideration taken when planning and harvesting a cutblock, they can be ecologically suistanable and benificial or the can be ecologically detrimental. Most of us rely on wood and forestry products therefore, it is our responsibility to ensure that logging and Treeplanting practices are operated in a sustainable manner.
