Crelle's Journal, or just Crelle, is the common name for the Journal für die reine und angewandte Mathematik founded by August Leopold Crelle. It was founded in 1826 and stand as a leading mathematical journal in the early nineteenth century. In fact, this journal is the first major mathematical journal which is not a proceeding of an academy. It published many notable papers, including work of Abel and Eisenstein .External links
