Chimpanzees, also called chimps, are the common name for two species in the genus Pan. The best known chimpanzee is Pan troglodytes, the Common Chimpanzee, living in West and Central Africa. Its cousin, the Bonobo or Pygmy Chimpanzee (Pan paniscus), is found in the forests of the Democratic Republic of the CongoThe Democratic Republic of the Congo called Zaire between 1971 and 1997, is a nation in central Africa. It is sometimes called Congo-Kinshasa after its capital, to distinguish it from the Republic of Congo, or Congo-Brazzaville''. It borders on Republic o. The boundary between the two species is formed by the Congo RiverThe Congo is the largest river in Western Central Africa. Its overall length of 4,380 km (2,720 mi) makes it the second longest in Africa (after the Nile). If the Chambeshi River is taken as the source, the overall length increases to 4,670 km (2900 mi)..

1 Chimpanzee differences

Anatomical differences between Common and Pygmy Chimpanzees are slight, but in sexual and social behaviour there are marked differences. Common Chimpanzees have an omnivorousOmnivores are organisms that consume on both plants and animals. At one time the word omnivore was used to designate the pig family. Examples: Mammals many pigs many bears many primates (including humans) domestic dogs some rodents, including mice, rats, dietIn nutrition, the diet is the sum of the food consumed by a body. Proper nutrition for a human requires vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fuel in the form of carbohydrates and fats. Imbalances between the consumed fuels and expended energy results in eith, a troop huntingPredation is an interaction between organisms (animals) in which one organism captures and feeds upon another called the prey . The predator is usually the larger and stronger of the two. Predators are always either carnivores or omnivores. The prey might culture based on beta males led by a relatively weak alpha, and highly complex social relationships; Bonobos, on the other hand, have a mostly vegetarian diet and an egalitarian, matriarchal, sexually promiscuous culture.
