Charny is a city in central Quebec, Canada located south of Quebec City and east of the city of Lévis. It is located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. The city was merged with Lévis on January 1, 2002. The city has been tremendously influenced by the Canadian National who has one of his major national trainyard, Joffre Yard.
