In Greek mythology, Carpo was one of the first generation of Horae. She was in charge of the autumn, ripening and harvesting. Her parents were Zeus and Themis. In art, Carpo and the other Horae were usually portrayed as young, attractive women surrounded by colorful flowers and abundant vegetation, or other symbols of fertility.
