The Camera Control Unit or CCU is installed in the Production Control Room (PCR). All functions available on the video camera on the studio floor are duplicated on the CCU. In addition to these all the technical and operational parameters of the video camera can be adjusted and fine tuned from the CCU. This helps the Technical Director of the studio to match the quality and output of all the cameras present on the studio floor. The CCU helps the Technical Director in white balancing the cameras.
