Calhoun County is a county located in the U.S. State of Michigan. As of 2000, the population is 137,985. Its county seat is Marshall 6. Calhoun County was established in 1833 and named after John C. Calhoun, Vice President under both John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson.
