1 Geography

The district includes the Cities of Candiac and La Prairie, the Municipality of Saint-Philippe , and the former City of Brossard.

2 History

The electoral district of La Prairie was created in 1966 from Beauharnois—Salaberry and Châteauguay—Huntingdon—La Prairie . The name was changed to Brossard—La Prairie in 1996.
