Boyette is located at 27°50'33" North, 82°17'8" West (27.842383, -82.285691) ¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 17.8 km² (6.9 mi²). 17.1 km² (6.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.21% water.

2 Demographics

As of the census ² of 2000, there are 5,895 people, 1,937 households, and 1,638 families residing in the community. The population density is 344.9/km² (893.1/mi²). There are 2,103 housing units at an average density of 123.0/km² (318.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 88.46% White, 5.39% African American, 0.63% Native American, 1.51% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 1.71% from other races, and 2.22% from two or more races. 8.16% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
