Home > Bothwell County, Ontario

Bothwell County is a historic county in the Canadian province of Ontario.

Bothwell was a division used by the federal government as an electoral district in several of Canada's early parliaments. It was never a county in the political sense, although it does appear in some post- Confederation census records.

Bothwell consisted of the Kent County townships of Bothwell, Camden, Dresden, Howard, Orford, Ridgetown, Thamesville and Zone, and the Lambton County townships of Dawn, Euphemia and Sombra.
