A boardwalk is a place, most typically in beachfront communities, where a path for pedestrians and sometimes vehicles runs along a beach or overlooking and close to a beach. There are boardwalks in many places in the world; however, they are extremely common along the East Coast of the United States.1 Famous boardwalks
