Home > Batcave

The Batcave is the personal headquarters of DC Comics superhero Batman, situated underneath his residence, Wayne Manor.

It contains his crime lab, computer system and files, personal gymnasium, parking, docking and hangar space (as appropriate) for his various vehicles, trophies of past cases, and a large bat colony.

Two trophies often seen in the background during Batcave scenes are a defunct mechanical tyrannosaurus and an equally giant penny. It has never been adequately explained how either of these were transported into the cave.

When he lived in the penthouse of the Wayne Foundation building, Batman had a secret basement there equipped as a Batcave as well.
