...Baby One More Time is the first album by American pop star Britney Spears, released on January 12, 1999 on Jive Records.

Britney's 1999 debut made her a household name. Her first single, the title track, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; simultaneously, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Her second single "Sometimes" jumped straight into the top 40 peaking at #6. This was followed by "Crazy", which peaked at #4. In 2000This page is about the year 2000. Events Y2K passes without the seri, she released two singles, one a European-only release ("Born To Make You Happy"), and the other, an American-only release ("From the Bottom of My Broken Heart"). "Born To Make You Happy" topped the UK Singles Chart in January 2000, and "From The Bottom of My Broken Heart" peaked just outside of the top 10 at #17 on the Top 40 that February. After five smash singles, "Baby One More Time" was certified diamond and thirteen times platinum in the U.S. alone.
