The current version is AutoCAD 2005, which was released in March 2004. A lower-cost version, AutoCAD LT (pronounced "ell tee", not "lite"), was first introduced in 1993. Compared with its more expensive sibling, LT lacks the AutoLISPAutoLISP is a programming language, a dialect of Lisp included with the CAD program AutoCAD to allow the user to add functionality to the software. It is not included with the AutoCAD LT product line. It was derived from the XLISP dialect of Lisp, which w programming language and other programming interfaces, some 3D capability, and a few other features.
