Ashley Heights is a census-designated place located in Hoke County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 341.

1 Geography

Ashley Heights is located at 35°5'2" North, 79°22'19" West (35.083969, -79.371995) 1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.3 km˛ (2.4 mi˛). 6.3 km˛ (2.4 mi˛) of it is land and 0.1 km˛ (0.04 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.82% water.

2 Demographics

As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 341 people, 120 households, and 101 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 54.4/km˛ (141.2/mi˛). There are 132 housing units at an average density of 21.1/km˛ (54.7/mi˛). The racial makeup of the CDP is 58.36% White, 22.58% African American, 13.49% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.47% from other races, and 4.11% from two or more races. 6.74% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 120 households out of which 38.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.7% are married couplesMarriage is a relationship that plays a key role in the definition of many families.
