Aquiles Serdán ( 1876- 1910) took part in the Mexican Revolution and was an opponent of Porfirio Díaz.

He was born on November 1, 1876, in the city of Puebla.

He supported Francisco I. Madero and Emiliano Zapata.

He was killed at his home in Puebla, along with part of his family on November 18, 1910, by the federal army, who discovered his involvement in Madero´s revolution. He was the first martyr of the revolution.
