Apple Jacks are a brand of cereal produced by Kellogg's. They are described by Kellogg's as "[c]runchy, sweetened multi-grain cereal with apple and cinnamon." It is classified as being Kosher dairy.1 History of Apple Jacks
Originally, they were all orange and shaped like O's. In the mid- 1990s, they started to include green jacks.
For a while, both the orange and green jacks were shaped like O's, but on December 8, 2003, as part of a marketing promotion, the orange jacks remained O's but the green jacks turned into X's.
