AVNOJ, Antifašisticko V(ij)ece Narodnog Oslobodenja Jugoslavije, stands for Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia.

This was the political leadership of the main anti-fascist forces of Yugoslavia during its occupation in the World War II, the Partisans led by Tito.

AVNOJ proclaimed new Yugoslavia on 29 November 1943 in Jajce.
