Sir Alistair Goodlad is a British Conservative politician. He served as Prime Minister John Major's Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury and Chief Whip, and was given the temporary shadow cabinet positions of Leader of the House of Commons and Chief Whip. Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair then appointed Goodlad as British High Commissioner to Australia .
