Alicia Ann Spottiswoode ( 1810- March 13, 1900) was a Scottish songwriter, known chiefly for the tune, " Annie Laurie ", to which the words of a 17th century poet, William Douglas, were set.

She married Lord John Montague-Douglas Scott in 1836, and consequently is alternatively known as Lady John Scott. "Annie Laurie" was published in 1838. Her other songs include "Douglas" and "Durrisdeer". She was born and died at Spottiswoode in Berwickshire.
