Home > Aircooling

Aircooling (also: air cooling) is one attempt to remove heat from components. It works by using a fan blowing air into the object one wants to cool. Usually, a heatsink is also used for more efficience.

It's use is very common in CPU cooling, where the computer processors produce large quantities of heat that, if not dissipated, could damage the CPU.

Some people preffer other types of cooling, such as watercooling, for being more efficient and silent. Also, it is said that the future new processors would be generating too much heat to be dissipated through air, and so that aircooling is becoming obsolete.
