ACNOVA.com, short for Action Nova, is the brainchild of a group of students, past and present of Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) from the country of Singapore. They wanted to find out more about operation of servers and the geography of the internet through providing an array of free no-frills services such as guestbook/counter hosting and maintaining forums. It has since evolved into a major Open Source Projects Mirror in Asia and provides quality public game servers for all to enjoy. Most notable of all, our forums is a good place to air your views about social and educational issues around the world.
History of ACNOVA:
2000 Bencxr and Lijie started ACNOVA.com for their personal webpages, hosted the server on a residential SCV cable connection. 2001 Started Free Web/counter/guestbook Hosting Service. Launchpad for many school and Compserv Projects. 2002 Entry of lennardseah and iphoting. Art of Free Hosting perfected with ACNOVA V3's user friendly interface. Server moved to area51@acsi for better uplink connectivity. Number of Hosted Active Users: 6000 Late 2002 ACNOVA V4 was launched a disaster. 2003 Feb ACNOVA.com relaunched as V5. 2003 May Taken down by the school due to sarbotage by a certain ficticious ms_lui. ACNOVA moved to fragnetics.com and existed in limbo. 2004 ACNOVA.com moves into Pacific Internet Internet Data Centre, served and load-balanced by lseahserver (main) and experiment-i (backup). Site is relaunched and takes on an open-source avocate identity.

Lennard is currently engaged full time in a Diploma in Computer Networking Technology course at Singapore Polytechnic. In his free time, he is also available for IT consultation and web design.
Iphoting is the present Top-Brass of Compserv @ ACS(I).
Benedict is currently in National Service to serve his country Singapore, and also pursuing a Chief Technological Officer course part time at New Horizons.
Li Jie on the other hand is studying for his Advance Diploma in Computer Studies full time at Informatics Computer School.
Both servers are located at Pacific Internet IDC, in the Creaion Cre8ion rack.
