AWStats is an open source, log file parser and analyzer, suitable for analyzing web server, mail server and ftp server log files, and displaying the analysis results in a graphical manner. It is written in Perl and works either from the command line or as a CGI script.

It is a very popular server administration tool, included in most Linux distributions. It is also included in custom "all-in-one" packages of the Apache HTTP server that include the PHP scripting language and the MySQL database as well.
