1965 in radio was a pretty busy year. The Beatles just released their soundtrack album to their second movie, Help! which was their first colour film, which spawned three songs, the movie title song, " Michelle", and " Yesterday" which is the most recorded song in music history.

It was also a busy time for Motown, which spawned successful music careers for acts like The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Supremes, and Mary Wells, among others.
